EMERGENCY SPILLAGE RESPONSE UNIT

A fast response is essential when dealing with chemical leaks or spillages which threaten the general public or the environment.

To save time and ensure that all the necessary materials and equipment are available to control and remove pollutants, MTB has invested in an Emergency Spillage Reponse Unit. This can be used in the case of :-

Roadside spillages
Spillages in factories/industrial premises
Spillages near rivers or waterways.

Emergency Spillage Response Unit

The Unit provides the clean up team with immediate access to squeegees, soak-up granules, booms and waders as well as a full range of protective clothing.

All products collected for disposal will be disposed of via a licensed disposal facility in accordance with Special Waste Regulations 1996 and the Environmental Protection Act 1990 Section 34 Duty of Care.
